Spring has sprung and my new passion project has blossomed! I’m so excited to announce that I am launching a flower wall business starting this spring with my soon to be husband! How freaking exciting! 
I’d never imagined something like this would manifest into my next big investment. As some of you might know, I’m getting married at the end of September to my best friend, Henry (whoo hoo!). In doing the preparation, I really wanted a fun and beautiful flower wall at my venue for a romantic photography backdrop. After googling and seeing the exorbitant price tag for a couple hours of renting one and the limited availability, I decided to DIY it. Oh boy, was that a project! I didn’t realize how much work and resources went into it, but I already started, so we had to go big! I had so much fun and adored the final product. I was really passionate about the whole process and it was super cute that Henry helped a lot to make my flower wall dreams come true. He is definitely the one!
The hardest part of this project was building the stand for the wall. The flower wall itself weighs about 50 pounds and all the stands that I looked at online were very flimsy! Henry did not trust any of the reviews and decided to make it himself. We spent countless hours at Lowes and Home Depot and finally, it all clicked! Our stand is about 100 pounds and we are proud to say it will be windproof 🙂 He’s a genius! 
After working on it for so long, I knew I wanted to expand it in my line of business as I understood the heavy price tag and limited choices to currently rent one.
On March 11th we teamed up with photographer Anthony Yoon by doing our first bridal show at the 4th annual Metropolis Ballroom!!! It was a huge success! Thank you, Anthony, for letting us be a part of your booth and most importantly always supporting my crazy ideas and dreams. We make an awesome team.
Even with making just soft announcements on my personal Instagram, I’m ecstatic to say that we’re already getting bookings for summer 2018! I’m excited to offer this new flower wall backdrop for weddings, engagements, baby and bridal showers, birthdays, and anything else for your event needs. It’s crazy to see how fruitful a passion project for my own wedding can turn into a fun business.
