When you think of a bride’s wedding dress you think of the usual white/off white dress, however this bride is different! When Amanda contacted me in regards to her wedding, the first thing she told me on the phone is “I’m not doing a typical average wedding. I’m going to wear red, my bridesmaids will be wear white and my wedding is going to be at the Palmer House .” When I heard this I jumped with excitement because I can already picture how awesome her wedding was going to be.
Things did not go as smoothly for Amanda and I when we had our first consultation. We had a lot of misunderstanding about how her hair and makeup should look. When we first exchanged emails, Amanda wanted something bold and purple with a Kim Kardashian poof, however the final look is nothing like what we talked about! Through countless trials and errors, Amanda walked down the aisle as a glowing beautiful bride. Amanda and Mike’s wedding is definitely one of my wedding highlight for 2011. Amanda and I still keep in contact because I am now her colorist, yay! I not only gain one client but an amazing friend that has supported me with my wild ambitions!
