Pop the champagne!
Oh what a joy it was working with Lexi and her bridal party. On a quiet and bright September morning, our team was up and ready for makeup at the beautiful Princess Diana Suite at the Drake Hotel. Despite being the first to-do of the morning was hair and makeup after a long night of dress rehearsal and celebrations, Lexi and her bridal party were exuberant and vivacious. The atmosphere was lighthearted, fun, and full of personality.
Our makeup artist Patricia worked with Lexi on a classic and clean makeup look. While keeping a soft and romantic look, Patricia kept defined lines in Lexi’s eye makeup, letting her bright eyes shine even brighter. The bridal party opted for a similar look, keeping things soft and romantic. Their light looks and vibrant smiles effortlessly matched the beautiful backdrop of classic Chicago and the crisp and comfortable September weather.
We loved working with Lexi and her bridal party due to their sheer energy and positive vibes. They were so much fun! It makes our job easier and more enjoyable (as if our job can’t even get any better) since the girls were so sweet and goofy. Serious case of good vibes all around and we really were so ecstatic to be a part of Lexi and Mike’s lovely festivities!
