Chicago/Destination Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist, Diem Angie
Whenever I have a wedding in Chicago, I ALWAYS bring a team of hair/makeup artist with me for big bridal parties. Unfortunately, since this was a destination wedding… I flew solo. Cici’s bridal party consisted of herself plus 7 bridesmaids for hair and makeup. Since it’s a Vietnamese wedding, everyone had to be ready by 9am for pictures/Tea Ceremony. Luckily, one of Cici’s bridesmaids is a makeup artist so I knew I had a solid team. Thank you Judi for helping me out with makeup—I could have not done it without you!!! We prepped the bridesmaids hair at 2am… got done at 4am…. slept and woke up at 5:30am to finish hair and makeup. With 1 1/2 hours of sleep…Judi and I zoomed into our zombie creativity mode and beautified the ladies below. Although it was hectic, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! I love feeling the rush and excitement && that is how I truly know that I love my job. Who has time for sleep when your on the job and loving it? “Aint nobody got time for that!”
