Puja and I have been exchanging emails back and forth for over a year and when her wedding day arrived I was ecstatic! I love love love doing hair and makeup for Indian weddings! This was my 3rd Indian/Pakistani wedding and each one keeps on getting better! When Deluxe Beauty and I arrived at the Aloft Hotel in Bolingbrook, we were jamming to their house music & bickering lights at 5am! Yes, the lights were actually flickering in Puja’s suite! I felt like I was doing hair and makeup at a rave! Okay, at 5 am doing hair and makeup with bickering lights sounds amazing, but I felt like I was having a seizure. All the hype was because certain parts of the hotel had no power. Eventually the lights started working, and we got everyone done at our scheduled time.
